About
I’m Mari Jyväsjärvi Stuart.
I work at the intersection of regenerative agriculture planning, systems design, sustainability strategy and climate impact.
I help companies, foundations, and project developers turn regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions commitments into credible, measurable, fundable programs. I have a decade of cross-sector experience, a rare combination of scientific rigor and commercial fluency, and a body of work that spans the industries where demand for regenerative agriculture and NbS expertise is growing fastest.
I translate ecological and scientific complexity into strategic decisions, sourcing frameworks, and impact narratives that non-specialists can act on.
I bring MRV fluency, standards knowledge, competence in 6 languages, and field experience in the Global South. I’ve actually built and run programs, and can go from white paper to farm-level delivery.
I’m also a writer and translator, scholar and educator, and an experienced facilitator.
My zone of genius: connecting the dots, translating complexity into clarity, and holding a holistic vision while keeping attention to detail.
I hold a PhD from Harvard University and in my former life taught Asian religions and environmental ethics at the college level. I bring to my work a pretty unique interdisciplinary background.
Originally from Finland, I’ve lived in four countries on three continents, through both nomadic and rooted land stewardship times.
